Dr. Basit Yameen has been awarded a Research Fellowship from Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Foundation, Germany. Awards from the AvH Foundation are considered to be among the most prestigious in the world and promote international co-operation between German Higher Education Institutions and leading academics from around the world. The most important aspect is the support that AvH Foundation renders to its alumni for establishing research at their respective institutions.
Through this fellowship, Dr. Yameen will cultivate research cooperation with the Macromolecular Chemistry Research Group at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany to develop new materials for solar cell applications.
