Pakistan gets 2-0 lead against England in Test Series


Abu Dhabi: Spinners have provided a great victory to Pakistan against England by 72 runs in the second test match in Abu Dhabi Cricket Stadium.

The victory gives Pakistan an unassailable 2-0 lead with the third and final Test in Dubai. Pakistan won the the first Test by ten wickets in Dubai.

Second test, In reply of target of 145-runs, England were all out on 72-runs and it was the lowest score by England against Pakistan.Only two England batsmen Andrew Strauss and Matt Prior crossed double digit score.  And three batsmen were out on zero score.

Pakistan have won 8 test matches in its last 14 matches under the leadership of Misbah-ul-Haq. Saeed Ajmal rises to no.2 in ICC Test Ranking and Left-arm spinner Abdur Rehman, risees five places to ninth spot in top ten ICC test ranking.

Saeed Ajmal completes his 100 wickets in 19 Tests. He became the fastest to 100 wickets for Pakistan, beating Waqar Younis and Mohammad Asif who reached the target in their 20th Test.
